The gold Chondrus Crispus was originally purple but it has been sun dried for a longer amount of time. Both the purple and gold have the same benefits but the purple is more rich in antioxidant properties.

How to make it into a gel?

 

  1. Wash the Sea Moss thoroughly and soak it in spring or filtered water for 12-14 hours with key lime.
  2. Pour out the water. We personally water our plants with the water as that way it doesn't go to waste. Rinse and cleanse again.
  3. Warm up some spring water on a stove. Not too hot just lukewarm.
  4. Pour a handful of the sea moss into the blender with75-150ml of water. If you want it to be more thick , pour less water and vice-versa.
  5. Blend until you get a gel like consistency. We recommend adding some key-lime juice.
  6. Consume within 2 weeks stored in a jam/mason jar refrigerated.
